BEER STYLES
Ale, Lager, Cider & Mead
The Brewers Association’s beer style guidelines reflect, as much as possible, historical significance, authenticity, or a high profile in the current commercial beer market.
Each style description is purposefully written independently of any reference to another beer style to the greatest extent possible. Furthermore, as much as it is possible, beer character is not described in terms of ingredients or process.

Breweries & Brewpubs Visited
To be included in the breweries visited guide we used the following factors in considering adding the brewery to the list.
First, the beer has to be brewed at the facility Visited.
Second, the facility is only counted once even if it's revisited. An exception to the rule is if a brewery changes its name or adds another location, it can be added.
Finally, beer festivals do not count. The beers were not brewed at the festival, so they are not added to the list. Select a state to view its breweries
